When should Protection Kits be changed?
Answer = Each time the shock absorbers are replaced.
Using old Bump stops and dust covers can have a detrimental effect on the life of the shock absorber plus the old bump stops can have an ingress of dust and grit which could damage the piston and seals which is NOT covered by warranty.
